Manitoba E-Association is a not-for-profit organization which was formed in May 2004. The goal and objective of this organization is to facilitate the adoption and utilization of innovative e-solutions by collaborating with organizations and/or communities to build e-capacity.

Manitoba E-Association has been selected as the delivery agent for the Small Business Internship Program (SBIP), and The Career Focus Program for 2010-11. These programs are supported in part by contributions from the Government of Canada. Career Focus provides funding for employers to help post-secondary graduates obtain career-related work opportunities in Canada to support their development of advanced skills, to help them make career-related links to the job market, and to assist them in becoming leaders in their field focusing on E-commerce and Social Networking.
The Small Business Internship Program (SBIP) provides small and medium-sized businesses financial support to hire a post secondary student intern to assist them in their adoption of information and communications technologies to increase their productivity and competitiveness focusing on E-commerce and Social Networking. - We are proud to announce that in 2006, Manitoba E-Association was the proud recipient of the Microsoft Unlimited Potential Award in recognition of our outstanding contributions to Microsoft Community Affairs and the Unlimited Potential Program. The award was accepted by our Executive Director, Clarice Leader, at Microsoft's Global Community Affairs Summit in Seattle Washington.
