 Welcome to the Prairie Northern Regions E-Association Web Site
Overview
Prairie Northern Region E-Association (PNR) is an alliance of community focused organizations which utilizes Information and Communications Technologies to meet the challenges and changes in PNR. This alliance or partnership between organizations in North West Territories, Nunavut, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba is made up of a strong and diverse group of community organizations which are focused on supporting, demonstrating and implementing a wide range of e-services in their respective regions and collectively within the PNR. By aligning the range of services delivered by these agencies the alliance is able to enhance, expand and revolutionize what is currently being offered throughout the PNR.

Our Vision
The Prairie Northern Region E-Association works as leader and innovator in e-solutions which support the development and delivery of e-services and strategic solutions for both the public and private sector. The PNR works within the alliance to capitalize on its collective strengths in the establishment of a collaborative, mutually-beneficial knowledge and resource sharing framework. The PNR supports and assists community serving organizations in maximizing their Information Technology and/or Information and Communications Technology infrastructure at an affordable cost.
The PNR E-Association:
- Uses its combined resources to support through demonstration and implementation the use of Information Communications Technology (ICT’s) as a community economic, social and cultural development tool;
- Provides profiles of its partners and its partner’s members, their skills, capabilities and contributions;
- Establishes mechanisms to link partners and facilitates the establishment of joint/cooperative ventures and projects that support the PNR E-Association;
- Fosters the exchange of technical and managerial knowledge and in-kind support between members which support member activities and projects;
- Broadens the “alliance of partnerships” in which nonprofit organizations and government agencies can join so that long-term, multi-pronged projects are developed that can address complex community issues.
